On the recommendation of sequined, I thought it would be a good idea to try out a blog carnival.
This is totally experimental, but let's see how it works.
How I understand it, basically you submit one of your posts, and I'll sort of edit them into a newsletter style publication... I'll highlight some of the best parts of the post, then link the audience to your post. Yeah? Cool?
If you have other questions, post them here, and I'll TRY to answer them. Like I said- this is experimental. We might end up doing it monthly? Or never again. Let's try it!
If I'm understanding this Blog Carnival correctly, I think this could be a SUPERB idea. With this group growing so much it would be great to receive a sample of the best posts by 20sb every month (or whatever time scale it ends up being)
If / When it takes off you could limit the number of posts that make it into each carnival, with perhaps a rotating judge selecting the best so many from those submitted (much like they do over at Post of the Week - although in this case there wouldn't be a final vote for a winner) You could also set themes for forthcoming carnivals - like humour carnival or relationships carnival etc.
Needless to say I'm in!
p.s. One question - Is there a deadline for submission?

James- thats actually totally what I was thinking!
1. Themed carnivals
2. After a couple, I wouldn't "host" them... others in the group would take turns putting them together and hosting on their blog
3. Not all the posts would make it. I mean, I expect like, 50, this time. And it'll only grow. Maybe I'll take top 20? We'll see how it goes. SO experimental right now.
I've submitted my article. It's from a blog I am currently in the process of leaving. The details on my 20sb account point to my new blog.
I hope this is allowed?
PS I didnt see any theme for this, is this a themeless attempt?

Also, remember that you have to email me with your blog URL after you've submitted. This is because I don't know who is and who isn't a member (we've got over 600 blogs here!) and I only want to include 20sb member posts in the publication.

Weird... I don't really get their whole thing, either. Maybe we should try doing this next time without using their interface? Like just make it all on our own? Sorry, Katelin!
