The Bloggers With The Most To Say

So, I was having a debate the other night with a friend about must-see movies. (not necessarily your favorite, but movies that every one should see at some point in their lives.) He said more people would have overlaps with him, but I said I think more would overlap with me.

So what movies would you, 20 somethings, say are absolutely must-sees?

Mine are: (Not in an particular order)

Sabrina
Breakfast at Tiffany's
The Breakfast Club
Rent
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Across the Universe
The Princess Bride
The Last Castle
Love Story
The Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
Amelie
West Side Story
Slumdog Millionaire
Stand By Me
Away We Go
500 Days of Summer
Funny Face
Gone with the Wind
Pan's Labyrinth

Agree? Disagree? Movies you think should be there?

how can you be "unmainstream" and a pop culture junkie??? tank girl is cool
Good films, though I would argue that these are pretty mainstream?
I <3 Huckabees
life is beautiful. not dubbed.
*nod nod* not dubbed is almost ALWAYS better. Must say, I personally don't see appeal in that film, I think because I didn't particularly relate to the father figure, which I suppose is vital to the appreciation of the film. The last 15 minutes or so (you know which bit I mean) ARE amazing though.
I'd have to add Juno, Avatar, and August Rush. I love pretty much everything else you listed! I love Audrey Hepburn.
The only thing that comes to mind immediately and wasn't mentioned already on someone else's list, is a Norwegian film called Elling.

It's quirky and hilarious and heartwarming without being too shmaltzy. One of those films you walk away from feeling like it was absolutely satisfying and worth your time to watch.

Oh, also, Paris Je T'aime.
