Nando, we've tried these in previous years and there just aren't enough blogs like this to justify a whole category. Most people's topic specific blog falls under the "second blog" category, anyway. We put that in to round up a bunch of travelling/parenting/dieting/sports blogs under one category.
As well, we asked for award idea submissions a few weeks ago, and only one person mentioned travelling, and nobody mentioned sports. Did you submit ideas? Next year, be sure to!

Helpful tip...
I saw some people Tweeting about who would fit the "Newbie Award (turned 20 in 2009)" and "Last Chance Award (turned 30 in 2009)" categories. An easy way to find out who fits those ages is to use the 20SB Members Advanced Search feature and sort by age to get a list of bloggers that match and then pick from there. Tada! Hope that helps.
