I just found an old 80's Mix cd and put it in my iTunes. I was so excited! Some of my 80's favs are:

Take on Me: A-Ha
Love Shack: The B52s
Heaven is a Place on Earth: Belinda Carlilse
You Give Love a Bad Name; Living on a Prayer: Bon JOvi
Come on Eileen: Dexys Midnight Runners

Centerfold: J Geils Band
We Built This City: Jefferson Starship
Working for the Weekend: Loveryboy
Melt With You: Modern English
Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic: The Police
Little Red Corvette: Prince
500 Miles: The Proclaimers
Jesse's Girl: Rick Springfield
Free Faillin: Tom Petty
Here I Go AGain: Whitesnake
Teenage Wasteland: The Who
Throw in some Billy Joel and Elton John and you have a great mix :)
Oh thank you! Some of them, luckily, I have them already. ;p
Ooh, nice list.
Great list!
And you should deffo check out the non-album/original plan for Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by Strontium 900- you can youtube it. Great, great, great recording.
You have to make sure that you include "Bizarre Love Triangle" by New Order. It's in every 80s movie. And JOURNEY! What's an 80s mix without a little Journey? My favorite is "When the Lights Go Down in the City" but "Open Arms," "Separate Ways," well, really any Journey song will do.

Other songs that I think are cool: "Drive" by The Cars and "Don't Dream it's Over" by Crowded House.
I don't think there is a bad Journey song. Great choices!
Erasure-Respect...amazingly gay (not in a bad way, in a they were gay way) brit pop from 80-something. Great dance tune!
This is is, this is the song, there is no other song besides this song. And that song is...

To Be With You by Mr. Big

The greatest song of life. Game over.
That actually wasn't released until 1991, but it is still a great song.
my best friend cousins sang this to her on her wedding day, it was funny and sweet at the same time :)
regardless of the release date..... amen... AMEN!!! [sniff, sniff]
it's my #2 karaoke song of choice too.

and YES on Bizarre Love Triangle. I'd also add Blue Monday by New Order.
