Applications on Wordpress.com Blogs

Dear all,

I am doing my sincere best to make my blog attractive. My wordpress.com blog looks like... I don't know, just another blog, so I have tried to insert different applications etc that will make it more attractive and that would for example allow my readers to interact with each other, but I am simply unable to make it. Has anyone managed to far?

What applications are you speaking of? Wordpress.com is very limited in what it allows, no javascript for security reasons and all that. You are limited to the widgets they have as well.

I think your blog looks good, clean, and not crowded with junk. It is usually the content and the personality of the blogger which attracts readers. The only thing I have found lately which has added any value to my blog is threaded comments which allows the commenter to comment directly on the comments of others.

All right! Have you managed to change the font for posting? For some weeks it only takes the default font that I think looks awful...

In the free wordpress.com platform, unless you pay to be able to change the css, you can't change the fonts in the themes unless that ability is incorporated into the theme itself, and I don't think they offer and themes which allow that.
