Regular features on your blog - who has them?
I was just wondering how many of you do a regular weekly feature, like Maxie's "Would you rather Wednesdays", for example. I have a feature on Tuesday called "Cheer me up Tuesday" but it tends to me just sticking some jokes or a funny clip at the end of my regular post. What regular or weekly features are on your blog, and why did you decide to do them? I'm just curious!

Not as yet. I'm still finding my blogging feet but the more blogs I read the more cool features and ideas I see, once I find something that I think people maybe interested that I blog about I may make a regular feature of it.

I just started a feature since i felt like everyone was doing it. i call it "unknown music tuesday". each tuesday, i post a video or song from someone who is unknown but i feel like everyone should check this person/band out

I am starting a regular feature, but it will be done monthly rather than weekly. It's called "If I knew then what I know now..." and will feature reflections from older women allowing them to share experiences they've had with younger women. The first post will be focused on the theme of love and relationship and will be posted Monday, March 2. I'm excited to get feedback on it!

I do a monthly feature of eliminating debt. I actually give what my credit card balances are, etc. It is just a way for me to keep track of everything and I like sharing that I am actually paying my debt down.
I am thinking about doing a weekly quote and a weekly Rescue Pet.

I've started doing an "I {heart} Target" post each Monday where I highlight some item from the sale ad that week that I'm dying to buy (or have already purchased). I've also been trying to do a Navy life post on Friday where I talk about some aspect of life with a Navy man (his training, Navy slang, etc.) I like having some weekly features because then I'm guaranteed to have some variety in my posts.

I do "Secret Sunday" which is inspired by post-secret. Basically everyone leaves an anonymous note ( or non-anonymous, if they want their balls to flap in the wind) telling some secret that they've never said out loud, and then each week I post the best ones from the week before. (I also contribute my own secret one way or another, and make zero effort to figure out who leaves what).
I also do "Come with me Thursday". I go someplace interesting in Hollywood, take a shit ton of pictures, and take everybody on a virtual date with me.
And I just started doing blog profiles - I'm non-commital to which day - I call it "Muppet Effing Digs you". Once a week, I'm going to 'feature' or 'introduce' smoeone who I follow and/or who follows me... Reasons why I dig them, etc. I heart blog love.

I like to do a weekly music feature called Sunday Night Selections. Based on the title, it usually get posted on Sunday nights, but it not showing up until a Wednesday isn't unheard of. Most of it is made up of underground/indie stuff but I do post the mainstream stuff if it warrants it for some reason or another. I try to give a little background on the music as well.
