1. Coming up with good content for my blog.
2. Finding great posts/blogs that I really like. (Don't get me wrong there are loads of great posts being written out there, but finding those posts/blogs which are just what your looking for can take a lot of searching.)
So I had this idea... Why not match what people would like to read with those people who are looking for blogging content. So the idea goes, someone writes in this thread I'd love to read a post about...X...or Y. Then someone reads this thread and thinks 'hey I'd love to write about that, what a great idea'. Hey Presto, blogging Nirvana has been reached.
So come on people what would you like to read about?
It could be general, for example 'I like dating blogs', or 'I like sporty blogs'. Or (ideally) it could be a little more specific like, 'I'd like to read about someone's experience of training for a marathon', or 'I like to read an honest review of the iPhone'. Or they could just be totally random suggestions like 'I'd like to dare someone to take a picture every hour in a given day and then post them to their blog'.

This is such a cool idea!
Aleah, read Clink. She's hilarious, and details her life thoroughly!
I'd like to read a post or a blog about being an engineering student (although medical school student is also of interest)... and finding a balance between having a life and studying.
Relevant categories: "university" and any of its sub-topics.
Relevant years: 2003-2006.
Caveat: I lean toward being a little sarcastic and bitter about the experience--but given the department it's almost expected.
I'd like to read about someone's transition into graduate school and/or someone currently applying to graduate school.
I'd also like to read about people's travel experiences and living experiences in other cultures. (Though I already know one place to check: the travel blogs group!).
I just started grad school this semester and I blog and read blogs to get away from it. I read a lot of blogs on grad school prior to, and it is a wonder I still went forward as most of them were pretty depressing. If I find the old blogs I read I'll pass them on.
