The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I have two big frustrations with blogging.

1. Coming up with good content for my blog.
2. Finding great posts/blogs that I really like. (Don't get me wrong there are loads of great posts being written out there, but finding those posts/blogs which are just what your looking for can take a lot of searching.)

So I had this idea... Why not match what people would like to read with those people who are looking for blogging content. So the idea goes, someone writes in this thread I'd love to read a post about...X...or Y. Then someone reads this thread and thinks 'hey I'd love to write about that, what a great idea'. Hey Presto, blogging Nirvana has been reached.

So come on people what would you like to read about?

It could be general, for example 'I like dating blogs', or 'I like sporty blogs'. Or (ideally) it could be a little more specific like, 'I'd like to read about someone's experience of training for a marathon', or 'I like to read an honest review of the iPhone'. Or they could just be totally random suggestions like 'I'd like to dare someone to take a picture every hour in a given day and then post them to their blog'.

Srah, I just come across this blog by a new 20sb member and thought of you. It looks to be jammed packed full of delicious looking food.
This is a good one. She writes about food and life in a very entertaining way!
This is a great idea! I don't have any suggestions right now, but I hope this catches on.
I like to read about people's lives. I guess that makes me nosy.
This is such a cool idea!
Aleah, read Clink. She's hilarious, and details her life thoroughly!

I'd like to read a post or a blog about being an engineering student (although medical school student is also of interest)... and finding a balance between having a life and studying.
My blog has a lot of my Comp Eng experience at UW documented. I don't know what your discipline is, but it might be relevant.

The Impact

Relevant categories: "university" and any of its sub-topics.
Relevant years: 2003-2006.
Caveat: I lean toward being a little sarcastic and bitter about the experience--but given the department it's almost expected.
Now I have some ideas:

I'd like to read about someone's transition into graduate school and/or someone currently applying to graduate school.

I'd also like to read about people's travel experiences and living experiences in other cultures. (Though I already know one place to check: the travel blogs group!).
Take a look at my old blog from my semester in Rome: Roaming Rome with Renee. Yes, it's on livejournal. It was 2006 and I was still living in 1999.

I WAS applying to graduate school, but I've since given up that endeavor. Phil just transitioned. Check him out.
It's not the sum total of the blog content, but Stephanie is just starting grad school.

And, er, okay shameless self promotion, but I've definitely done my share of reflecting/ranting on being in grad school after a 5 year hiatus.

Honestly, I'm just trying to help!
I just started grad school this semester and I blog and read blogs to get away from it. I read a lot of blogs on grad school prior to, and it is a wonder I still went forward as most of them were pretty depressing. If I find the old blogs I read I'll pass them on.
sequined- Arielle is currently applying to different business/grad schools. I love her blog... you should check it out!
I like reading about happy relationships. That's one reason why I love Wishcake so much.

I also wouldn't mind reading about other political interns or those of us graduating in May!
