1. Coming up with good content for my blog.
2. Finding great posts/blogs that I really like. (Don't get me wrong there are loads of great posts being written out there, but finding those posts/blogs which are just what your looking for can take a lot of searching.)
So I had this idea... Why not match what people would like to read with those people who are looking for blogging content. So the idea goes, someone writes in this thread I'd love to read a post about...X...or Y. Then someone reads this thread and thinks 'hey I'd love to write about that, what a great idea'. Hey Presto, blogging Nirvana has been reached.
So come on people what would you like to read about?
It could be general, for example 'I like dating blogs', or 'I like sporty blogs'. Or (ideally) it could be a little more specific like, 'I'd like to read about someone's experience of training for a marathon', or 'I like to read an honest review of the iPhone'. Or they could just be totally random suggestions like 'I'd like to dare someone to take a picture every hour in a given day and then post them to their blog'.
I find those blogs that only write about blogging a little cringe worthy. You know the ones with posts like '10 things to go from 10 readers to 10,000', or 'how to make make money from blogging in 10 easy steps'. Personally I don't read any of them.
But what I'd really like to read is advice and tips from regular bloggers, like yourself I imagine. Not necessarily about acquiring readers, but any blogging tips. How do you come up with post ideas? When/where you write there posts? Any books/blogs that you have used for inspiration? Tips on commenting (do you reply or to your blog comments), managing your RSS reader, length of posts, using images etc. etc. What have you learnt to do or not to do during your time as a blogger?
So who fancies writing a post about what they have learnt? Or maybe you've already have one in your archives. As I said I'd love to read it.
p.s. I do intend to pen one myself in the not too distant future

I love blogs like that, too. I'm not getting married, but not single, so less horrifying date things happen (though there are still some funny instances that DO happen).
I write a lot about funny things that happen to me in my everyday life, as well. (Or at least I try to most of the time). And I'm checking out your blog because of this. (:
It's easier for me to single out what I DON'T like reading:
-blogs that give a blow-by-blow account of what happened in their day in the blandest, most uncreative manner
-metablogging (blogging about blogging)
Yeah, that's about it. I, personally, like reading about the person's personal life. Also, humor. Examples would be the blogs of my friends Mike Villar at mikevilla.com and Ade Magnaye at blog.ademagnaye.com
I love being nosy and reading about other peoples lives. Particularly the lives of young, fabulous women who I feel are so much more together and figured out than I am. But still hilarious and relatable.
Thus why I love Molly and Clinks blogs (how do I link? I'm a newb and don't know how!)
I enjoy the hilarity of crazy adventures, happenings and funny dating stories. (Yes basically Chick Lit is what it is)
Though I am new and haven't had much of a chance to sort through all the great blogs that I'm sure exist on 20 sb what I would like to read about is any one who isn't afraid to tell the truth about their lives who can lay it all on the line the good the bad and the ugly the experiences that made them them and in the process of it all laugh at themselves as well.
