The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Hello 20SB.

I'm KP. And I am new here. New to the whole blogging world actually. I have found though that it is quite addictive; a release too. I was encouraged to unleash myself via Blogger by a good friend of mine who claims I'm funny. I appreciate that. As it's something I try to do and hope to one day base a career on.

But that's tricky. And that's why I'm here.

To get schmaltzy for a hot second, I think this site is fantastic. To read and be read by people like me. It's cool. Kudos. I like. And thank you in advance to those of you who indirectly save my sanity via your shared experiences. It's always nice to know I'm not the only one. Amen.

Oh! As far as the techie side of blogging is concerned, I'm clueless. I rock the premade templates (Tic Tac Blue, more specifically) and don't know a widget from a muppet. So, any advice or nudge in the general direction of advice would be stellar.

I hope to eventually read blogs from all 591 of you, but currently there is a more pressing need in my life as I am out of clean socks and should probably do some laundry.

I like it here. Hope to hear from you soon!

-KP

Welcome. Your friend was apparently right. You are quite entertaining!

If you get tired of the tic-tac blue, you can search for other free templates online... there are MANY. if you want one to work with the newest blogger (the labels and moving everything where you please and general fun version of it all, etc.) search for Free XML Blogger Templates. Many other designers are out there who will do personal design for a reasonable price too--most I've seen are $20-$40, depending on time and how much they pay for the graphics used in the design.

As far as widgets go, you'll pick up on those quickly. Promise! :)

Again, welcome to us!
I'm new to the site too, still getting the hang of blogging myself. I have spent much time as a lurker though! LOL.
Personally, I have found blogging an odd experiance.
I always felt that it was like writing in a diary, and when done, you place the diary on the bookshelf with everything else for anyone to read.

I have tried to keep a personal life separate from my blogging life - remaining an art blogger instead of a social. More an more, though, I find myself writting about my life and the experiances that I think others would like to either know about - or know that someone else has had them.

I hope you find your way in blogging, I look forward to reading.
Thanks so much for the welcome, folks! Again, this site is just too cool! Oh! I know what a widget is now. It's like a... thing. LIke a little thingy guy. That you can put things in and then put on your page. It does stuff.

I totally get it. Good to go.
