Some West Coast suggestions?

I'm new to 20somethings, but I figured it's the perfect place to hit you all up for some suggestions! Heh.

In about 3 weeks I'm doing a solo trip - flying out to the West Coast and hitting up Portland, OR and San Francisco, and possibly LA on the way. Needless to say, I'm so excited.

I've never been to Portland and the last time I was in SF was about 5 years ago, so I'm sure theres places I've long forgotten and new ones to visit as well.

If any of you twenty somethings live in those parts or visit them often, I would LOVE any suggestions of your favorite spots in those cities. My schedule is wide open so I want to hit up as much as I can (and eat at some fabulous restaurants!).

I know basically nothing about SF or Portland...sorry. BUT if you do end up going to LA (and you should...have I mentioned it's 70 degrees here on this February day?) let me know and I will give you enough suggestions to keep you busy for weeks. Roller disco. Saki bombs. Beachfront brunch.

I've been living in LA for about three and a half weeks now, so I don't know a TON about the place. But you definitely should head this way and stay for a couple of days.

Some West Coast suggestions?
