The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Ok, so I once accidentally sent my bf an email from the other gmail acct i set up to associate my blog with, and then 2 days after a keyword search showed up on my google analytics: "twenysomething clueless blogspot" (my blog's name is twentysomething and clueless). Since then I've been getting 1-2 visits daily, sometimes skipping a day or two from that keyword search (which is also weird, cause if it was the same person, wouldn't they just bookmark the blog so they wouldn't have to search it every time??)

Look: (click on image to see larger if you need to)

AND note the avg time spent AND the avg no. of pages compared to site-wide averages:

Whoever this is is spending more time on my blog and viewing more pages than the average person, and that's partly what raises my suspicions (AND creeps me out!)

The thing is, he hasn't mentioned a word of it to me, and I don't know what to do. I don't even know if it's him for sure, but it's definitely creeping me out!

I don't completely mind if he knows that i blog, since I only ever write good things about him anyway, and all the other stuff i tell him, but it's weird that he hasn't said anything if it is him.

what do i do?? is there some clever way to catch him out, or even just try and figure out who it is if it isn't him? have any of you been in this situation? What did you do? HELP! lol

Edit anything incriminating out, ASAP, and then move your entire blog to a different URL (and notify your loyal readers). It sucks, but if you really object to his possible snooping, it's an option that is tried and tested. Good luck!
Well I've already edited out the most incriminating post, all the other stuff he wouldn't get riled up about or anything, but it bothers me that if it IS him, he hasn't said anything at all to me!

I want to figure out a way to see if it IS him first, before I have to move URLS or whatnot, since that's such a hassle!!
Do you guys use the same computer? Maybe try emptying out your browser history, avoid going to your blog from that computer for a couple of days, and then chec it. You'll be able to see if he's been to your blog or not.
No, he lives in NYC and i live halfway across the world in Hong KOng....so that doesn't work :(
well if u have 'sitemeter', its a great way to find out who's visiting ur blog, from where and how they came to u etc, u can also see the details of ur visitors such as the IP address. So if u know his or (if ur living together) ur IP address, then u can find out.
I use google analytics, which is also pretty detailed, although it doesn't give IP addresses (at least not that I've found out...) and apparently i've had 48 visitors from New York (It's the city with the most readers, according to GA!)

Does anyone know if GA gives IP addresses? I wouldn't even know how to figure his out...haha
i've never heard of google analytics.. whats good about it?
it gives entire overviews of who visits your blog, like how many visitors, from which sites, what countries/cities, keywords used that linked to your site when other ppl did searches, and all that. Go take a look at it, I think they have a demo/tour thing! www.google.com/analytics
oh its very much like sitemeter.
no- waaaaay better than site meter. WAYYYY. theres incredible search filters. it tracks all the details- not just the most recent 100. WAY BETTER. really neat map interface, it lists the top search terms and referring URLS. do it.
ok, adding google analytics, like, NOW.
I wanna like, be tricky about asking him, practically trick him into admitting he's read it...

OoooO what if i wrote about something on the blog, and casually mentioned the topic or something, and hope he says "yeah i know you feel that way"?? ugh, that's too subtle...

I actually quite want to tell him that i blog, but at the same time i don't want hassles of censoring myself or having to change URLs if anything ever happened (I would NOT want him to know how i'm feeling post-breakup, for example, if we ever broke up, or any other post-breakup love-related things going on in my life! if i knew he was reading (or was possibly reading) i'd feel totally insensitive posting about it even if i really wanted to blog...) anyway, those are the worst-case scenarios...

will get sitemeter asap! haha although how i'm gonna figure out it's him from sitemeter, i don't know yet...
