The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Which do you use, and which do you prefer?

I'll be starting a new blog soon that won't be anonymous (ie ppl in my real life will know about it, and pictures of myself & friends etc will be on it, along with my real name) and I'm not sure which host to use!

My current blog is on blogger, and I like it cause it's pretty simple to use and you can customize it pretty easily for no extra charge or anything like that. However, I like that on wordpress you can create 'pages', but don't like that you need to pay to have a customized layout and all that - visuals are quite important to me!

So, any thoughts/advice/opinions?

Even though you already made the switch, I thought I'd post this anyway in case anyone else was struggling with it as well.

It's easy to overcome the page thing in blogger. Just make an update, add a link section or html section on the sidebar, and link to the entry. It's pretty much the same thing as the custom pages on wordpress, at least I think so.
That's what I did for my blog roll. I back dated the post to the year 2000 so that it wouldn't be randomly amongst my normal entries.
I prefer Wordpress to be honest. Sure it has it's bugs, but as far as organization, I like it more than Blogger. I have only used Blogger a handful of times so I guess I don't have a very good basis for an opinion.

I know I don't want to switch right now. Moving a blog seems too tiring.
Wordpress all the way? I seem to dislike the commenting system of blogger.
I really dislike the crazy word verifications. I also dislike people who only allow comments from other Blogger users. I had to create a Blogger account just to comment on people's posts. Not cool.
