hey Emily looks like 20sb isn't much of the iPad carryin' crowd. :)

My favorite iPad apps: Flipboard, MobileRSS (google reader), WindowShop, Evernote, & StumbleUpon.

You can view my entire app library and random reviews on Appolicious.
I have one!!! I love my wireless printer app (brother i print and scan) text plus, wordseek, bubble popper, stumble upon, yoga, iperiod, soundhound , google earth, and pandora. Ever since I got my iPad I never use my laptop except to write papers. I'd like to hear more people's faves!

Nice! I'm getting one very soon. Good to know what apps are actually useful on the iPad.

Can you explain to me why you wouldn't just rather have tab browsing with flash compatibility? There are some nice tablet computers out there that do that.
I mean I get that it's an itouch and a kindle in one place, I just don't honestly understand why I should want one.

I have an itouch (for music, and wifi hunting) and I still read real books...so, what's the main selling point for you?
I prefer the larger screen for browsing. I don't even read books on it, on listening to music is only one of the million things I do on it. It has an app for Microsoft apps so I can take it to class with me and take notes directly on my PowerPoint slides. I can print wirelessly. I can play piano, the drums, and guitar. Most importantly, I can use stumble upon. The lack of flash ability sucks though. But I'm still obsessed with it.
I think I would wait a few more generations before I bothered to buy it. I've used those music apps on my itouch but there is lag and no dynamics to the sound so, I mean--it's a novelty but not that useful to me as a musician.

I think we should boycott it until they decide to stop the flash feud!
Haha ok I'm with you!
The main selling point, for me, is that the internet has the largest catalogue of books. And they are free. That is the main reason I wanted one but refuse to pay the price for it. I read a lot and I can find more books on the internet than I could find in any library. I've downloaded and read dozens of classic and new books without paying anything. What sucks is having to read them hunched over the computer. I've got tons of books on hard drive just waiting to transfer over to an IPad. The reason I havent read a lot of them is because reading them on a computer sucks.
With an Ipad I could have the Harvard Classics and an entire library that weighs a few pounds and I can whip out anywhere.
Plus you can write notes on it which is another plus.
I do not understand the point of the iPad. Mainly why anyone would want one... I was going to write a big paragraph about it, but I have done it before, and I'm lazy
i like buttons. just like a little kid on an elevator.

why are we giving up buttons for touch screens?
it makes me sad. i have a phone with buttons and i KNOW that makes me lame.
but i like buttons :/
I have one. 'Cause I won it for free. It's alright, but I'm not a big app person. Maybe because I've never added an app that wasn't free. I would never have paid for an iPad, and would prefer to take a netbook traveling. It's just an Ipod touch on steroids. Too big to take for a run. It is nice to browse the net from anywhere in the house, though. And the touch keyboard is better then I expected.
