The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I found this question on some random blog today:
If you had to choose 10 CDs to take on a cross country road trip what would you choose?

This was hard for me to answer... I tried. (meetmeatthemirror.blogspot.com)

Someone help me out here. What is your ideal roadtripping music?

I would have to bring Lauryn Hill's THe Miseducation of Lauryn Hill along for the ride as well as a greatest hits CD from Michael Jackson for nostalgia. For a Disney fix, I would bring along The Little Mermaid. The original Broadway soundtrack to Rent is a great one to sing along to. I really like the Juno soundtrack as well.
Have to agree with Amber on #4 - The Format. My favorite band before they broke up...

I'd like to add Steel Train - Trampoline, to the list.
Oooh this is an AWESOME question! Let's see . . .

"Tragic Kingdom" - No Doubt
"Jagged Little Pill" - Alanis Morrisette
"My December" Kelly Clarkson
"Meteora" Linkin Park
"Stand Still Look Pretty" The Wreckers
"8701" Usher
"Galore" Dragonette
"Cake and Pie" Lisa Loeb
"Lessons to be Learned" Gabriella Cilmi
"Recurring Dream . . .The Very Best of" Crowded House

A pretty random selection but it would keep me going . . .
as 20 year olds, I guess we still feel nostalgic about CD's, even though an iPod is the best thing ever..... No particular order here....

1)U2-The Joshua Tree
2)NIN-The Downward Spiral
3)Kings of Leon-Because of the Times
4)Stone Temple Pilots-Purple
5)Radiohead-The Bends
6)The Cure- Disintegration
7)Stellastarr*-Harmonies for the Haunted
8)Third Eye Blind-self titled
9)Yeah Yeah Yeah's-Fever to Tell
10)Beastie Boys-Ill Communication
Love Fever to Tell, but I'm bigger on Show Your Bones. Warrior is such a great song.
...In no particular order...

1) Nas - Illmatic
2) Kanye West - Late Registration
3) Slick Rick - The Great Adventures of Slick Rick
4) Prince - Purple Rain
5) Wyclef Jean - Carnival
6) Fugees - The Score
7) Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
8) Nina Simone - The Best of Nina Simone
9) Marvin Gaye - What's Going On?
10) Michael Jackson - Thriller
Man, this is a fucking tough one. I'll give it a try. And in no particular order....

*Led Zeppelin---House of the Holy
*KISS---Alive!
*Weezer--Green Album
*Red Hot Chili Peppers---Californication
*Stevie Wonder---Songs in the Key of Life
*Michael Jackson---Whatever the album is that has the most hits (Number Ones, maybe?)
*Beatles---Abbey Road
*Steve Vai---Real Illusions: Reflections
*The Darkness---Permission to Land
*KISS---Unplugged

Honestly, I'd have to take a hell of a lot more than this, but these are always with me. Always.
