The Bloggers With The Most To Say

What is the coolest thing that has happened to you thanks to being a 20sb member? A new friendship? Reconnecting with an old friend? What has 20sb has done for you?

Honestly, it got me back into really blogging in a good way. It also connected me with a lot of bloggers in the DC area. In June we actually had a mini-meetup which is a lot of fun!

It's also really helped me because I spent a good portion of last year and part of this year moving around quite a bit, which made it hard to connect. Sounds kind of silly, but at times I felt a little less alone. :)

What a great question! I think for me, it's definitely been finding other blogs that I enjoy. Sometimes I forget where I've found blogs (or where bloggers have found me). One of my favorite finds (although, I'm not sure who found who first) was Jamie. She's such a fun read. Also, it's been great to interact with bloggers through forums and discussions- definitely an improvement from just leaving a comment on a blog. I like the back and forth that's come with it.
Yea, I agree. Even though we've multiplied like bunnies (HI THERE 1983 MEMBERS!) we still have that family feel, haha.
I know! Lisa definitely did a great job starting this. Who knew so many people would be wanting to join!?
Oh my gosh Brandy! That made me smile so big haha. You're the sweetest and you know you are my first and favorite 20SB!
I've met awesome people because of 20sb. I hang out with some of these folks pretty often (Deutlich and DMB) and I have formed long-distance friendships too. In June I went to Chicago and met a ton of 20sbers and they were all awesome people. I look forward to meeting even more people in the future.

Other than that it's helped me really understand what blogging is all about and find a ton of quality blogs to read every day.
"helped me really understand what blogging is all about"

RIGHT? I feel like every so often I get a new understanding. "Alright. NOW I get why blogging is so wonderful" and then two months later "okay seriously, this is what blogging is about" and then another couple of months later "no no, NOW blogging rocks"

20sb-ers are some of the coolest people I know!
I love all the blogs I have found through here that I otherwise might not of. It is the one thing that I can really rely on to keep me entertained at work. I love how much the forum is alive unlike lots of other similar networking sites. I really enjoy the community feel going on here.
Before this, I read lots of Mommy bloggers (and, oddly enough, infertility bloggers...why?). Now I'm able to find so many new blogs (and get so many new readers), it's really been so wonderful!

I've also moved this year, and this whole blogging thing has stayed constant. It's strange, but wonderful. :)
I agree. I felt like there had to be voices out there besides just Mommy blogs or wanting to be mommy blogs. Not that they aren't great it is just not the place that I am in my life and it was so nice to see all of these amazing men and women who were experiencing and dreaming about the same things I could. To find people I could realte to who were my age was a great thing!
One of my favorite things about 20Somethings so far is being able to meet bloggers, like Jenn who I adore and consider such a great friend. Also, if it wasn't for 20somethings, I really doubt I would have ever went to BlogHer this year. I love the connections I have made with people and we just have such a great community here.

I'm really loving that Chicago has such great bloggers too and that people come visit us!
First, aww :)

Second, I agree. 20SB has introduced me to a lot of bloggers, many of whom I've developed relationships with. The Chicago bloggers have quite a large group. Sometimes I forget that there are others out there and I feel that 20SB opens us up to other experiences, cities and people.
I just moved to a new city, so its been good for me to meet other bloggers. Even though I don't know any of them in real life, it makes me feel a lot less lonely when I have so many blogger 'friends'. Its provided a great network to find other bloggers that have the same interests as myself.
