I'm partial to a French Martini, a glass of Baileys (blended with ice - mmm) or rose or white wine - most notably Ernest and Julio Gallo White Grenache (which I'm drinking right now and which prompted me to ask). What's your poison?
I'm partial to mudslides and chocolate martinis because mixing chocolate and booze equals heaven. But in recent weeks, I've grown to love a nice glass, or three, of merlot.
However, if you catch me at the bar, I'm a beer-liquor girl. Put a bottle of Yuengling (favorite beer, by far) or Miller Lite in my left hand, a shot in my right (Soco & lime, maybe a red-headed-slut or straight shot of Yager), and I'm pretty content.
As I've said before, definitely not a beer girl.
My low maintenance drinks are Caesars (which apparently they only have in Canada) and Greyhounds (grapefruit & vodka).
High maintenance drinks are mojitos, yummy martinis and pina coladas.
As for wine, I prefer wines, especially a good riesling. Yum!
I hate regular mojitos, but a chain restaurant around here - Fox & Hound - make an amazing strawberry-banana mojito. The mint is far less potent that way and I love it - though I can only drink one because it's super sweet.
