I'm partial to a French Martini, a glass of Baileys (blended with ice - mmm) or rose or white wine - most notably Ernest and Julio Gallo White Grenache (which I'm drinking right now and which prompted me to ask). What's your poison?
Oooooh I love this topic. (Hopefully that doesn't seem too alcoholic to say) I like a French Martini to feel girly, Jack and Coke is an old standby, and mojitos and caipirinhas to remind me of my good times abroad.
but if you were to ask me at a bar what i want to drink you'd likely get vodka tonic & lime, stella artois, corona (with lime, of course) or bud light...
if we're in it for shots, i'd say patron, soco & lime or any bomb besides a grape bomb (what psychopath decided a grape flavored shot was a good thing?).
I hate the taste of alcohol. With a passion--scratch that--a FIERY passion.
So I chug/shot everything. Jager bombs, and tequila shots--complete with salt and lime--don't bother me so much (but if you swallow fast enough you don't taste anything anyways)
And I just don't understand how some can enjoy beer to the point that they sip a bottle/can/whatever each night. Ick.

Oh I understand what you mean about the beer thing, although I'm FINALLY starting to develop a bit of a taste for it. I used to hate the taste of alcohol too, but I've grown to like it a lot now. Almost too much perhaps . . .
My drink of choice used to be a Long Beach - it's a Long Island with cranberry instead of coke, not many people know this.
Anyway, lately I've been rekindling my romance with vodka (we had a bad break-up in college) and drinking kettle and soda with 3 cherries. An acquired taste that I'm really liking.
