The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I tend to get blogging ideas at times when I don't have the ability to record them in some way - in the shower, right before falling asleep. When and where do you get ideas for posts and how to you record them so you remember that you want to write about them?

I usually get them in the shower or right before bed as well! Sometimes I am good at logging the ideas in my brain for when I wake up, then I try to blog the ideas. Usually I will write them on a sticky and tack it to my bulletin board, or I'll just hope that I remember it by the time I blog it!
I have forgotten so many good ideas for blogs in the past! If possible I try to write it down on a post-it, type the title as an email draft or put it in my phone. Usually it's not possible and I forget it. Or lose the piece of paper I've written it down on.
Kinda of get them at the oddest times, especially if I pissed off at something. Helps to keep a pen and a pad near by because I cant depend on the brain when I put it to the keyboard.
a lot of my inspiration comes from other articles that I've read...so typically I'm at my computer when I get an idea and then I just blog about it at the same time.
I email them to myself from my phone if I'm on the go.
Note pad in my planner. Or post-its. :) Or if it's somewhere like the shower or other place, I just try to remember it the best I can until I can write it down.
I have a notepad on me all the time. I also use my digi cam to take photos of things that remind me of what I want to blog about. Sometimes a visual reminder helps me more than words. :)
I either right them in a small notebook I carry or text them to my e-mail if I don't have a notebook.
I don't really keep track of ideas... I just write whenever a good idea strikes me. Maybe that's because I mostly just write about my life as opposed to certain topics. A great time to write is right before falling asleep! Then I get out all the thoughts that could keep me tossing and turning. Otherwise, like everyone else said, keep a notebook, record ideas in your iPhone (like me sometimes), or just run to your computer every time you get a good idea! :-)
If you are someone who wants to consistently blog (set number of posts every week no matter what), you should set a schedule with deadlines like they do in the printing industry. Get a calendar and just write in the ideas for the appropriate days and make sure you have it written and edited before that day approaches. This tends to suck the joy out of blogging for me though, because I like the spontaneity of midnight blogging.
good idea!

I type my ideas into a text message on my phone and save them as a draft if I am away from a computer.
I try to keep a mini, pocket sized notebook and jot stuff down all day, or grab the nearest scrap paper. Having a means of logging all your creative ideas is very important, never know when you've got a great one!
