the blogger meet up of all meet ups...SERIOUSLY
Jenn and I were just talking about planning a 20something meet up. Not just little city meetups, but a big one. I know people talk about it all the time but nothing really comes from it.
Well if people are seriously interested in doing something like this Jenn and myself will do our best to make it happen.
Right now we are just gauging interest before talking about locations and stuff. Would you SERIOUSLY go to a big 20SB meet up?

If I can feasibly go, I will... But it looks like I'm only going to get one day a week off in grad school, and that day is Monday. :(

When and where are a pretty big determinant for me... with the whole Canadians (therefore far) and grad student (therefore stupidly busy) thing working against me.
But, if those big limitations don't end up working against me.... I would love to!
We can even have a contest for the most ridiculous story I have to tell all my IRL friends and family about why I'm going!!

Yeah...most Canadians are looking at a $500 minimum (yes, I have looked up how much it would cost me to go to Chicago) on flights alone. I'd love to go but it depends on finances.

I'm with Princess Pointful and Ben on this. I mean, being Canadian is awesome 99.9% of the time but it makes travel a bit trickier. Although I've looked (and voted!) at the poll and definitely think some are easier to get to (and cheaper!) than I expected. Like... Boston. Ahem.

Round trip to Chicago? Cheapest is about $600 depending on the dates.
Seattle? $800.
Ugh. Now I'm depressed. I'd be able to swing Boston with a long drive and I'd have relatives to stay with, but the others are pretty steep considering the accomodations and meals on top of that.

We will try to get the best deals possible for our Canadian friends. Not just for flights, but other accommodations as well.
