The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Starting a job on Monday and trying to save up money by packing my lunch. Just curious if others tend to pack also or buy theirs.

I almost always bring leftovers to eat
I used to bring lunch. When I took a job locally I went home for lunch most of the time during this summer, or skipped it and drank coffee until I got home to eat.
Both. It's nice to treat yourself every once in awhile for lunch, but you do save a lot of money bringing from home. Leftovers from dinner are usually key for me.
I usually alwasy pack my lunch. It's really hard around here to get anywhere to eat and back in a half hour at the time of my lunch. But, I also like to do it because it helps me attempt to save money. Plus, I usually eat healthier (but not always) when I bring my lunch.
I try to make my own whenever i can as 1) I can't afford to buy it often and 2) my office is a bit isolated so there's limited lunch places nearby. I usually either make myself a sandwich of some sort or tuna fish cakes, or bring in some pasta or soup to heat in the microwave.
one of the major perks of still living at home with the parentals, is the abundance of leftovers. I always bring my lunch to work because:
a) my lunch break is only 30 minutes which barely allows for enough time to walk or drive, order food, and then eat food.
b) i work in a mall with a food court that is always crowded.
c) food in said food court is grossly overpriced.
d)and of course, bringing my lunch is FREE.
I pack my lunch, if I bring one at all. Sometimes my schedule is a bit funky, but I do prefer bringing my meals than buying.
Im attempting the lean cuisine route but I usually buy lunch at least once a week.
I take packed lunch for most of the month but when I get paid I do tend to treat myself for a few days by going out to get lunch.
It depends on what my day looks like. (I work out of the office and flit around from photo assignment to photo assignment.) Some days, I drive home for lunch and hang out with my dog for the remainder of my lunch break. If I don't do that, I'm usually insanely busy and will pick something up on my way.

When I had a job with more stable hours/places, I always brought my lunch.
i try to bring lunch as often as possible because buying lunch gets expensive. but i do buy lunch at least once a week because i don't want to get burned out on leftovers / microwave dinners.
The people I work for buy foods that I like and leave it in the fridge and counter... basically I am free to eat whatever is in the house. Don't be shy they say lol
