lately i've been catching up on olympic news. otherwise, shopping/browsing for any current addictions (i.e. snowboarding stuff, which is unfortunate because it's AUGUST), and feeding my never-ending quest for knowledge, aka wiki-ing shit.
I run a PlurkTrivia thing on Plurk
Check facebook as often as possible
Make fun of affiliate marketers on Plaxo
Check the 20somthings to see what they're up to
Watch some new vids on Break.com
Work on one of my 10 websites
facebook, random web surfing, sleeping, eating, oh and of course partying, dodging pictures, and telling people to go see my blog & agree on my last post [shrugs], oh tv, movies, internet movies, avoiding the gym.
I'm kidding. Actually I'm a tech news junkie, so I surf sites like Digg, Engadget, etc. And when I'm not doing that online, I'm downloading MP3s like a mad man.

Yeah there are lots of fakes out there. My rule of thumb is that any survey site asking you to pay them anything is fake. The way I see it, you're already giving them your opinion that should be enough. The real ones get their money from the companies who want surveys done. Try one from the article I linked to above. All of them are free to join.
I like taking a gander at what other web developers are working on. Eg., the cobra language, MVC's, whatever social [thingies] people have come up with lately, etc.
Also, as I am a musician, www.soundsnap.com is really fun to hit up.
Other than blogging and reading about a trillion other blogs I check out facebook (mostly peoples photos), read the news, watch video clips... 20sb obviously. Ever since I started reading blogs I haven't really had any time to just "surf."
