The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Jenn needs help with this meet up thing and all of you who said you will help flaked out, minus a select few.

So if you guys really want this to happen then you need to give some input.

If you aren't going to find some info on Boston and New York, then by default it will be in Chicago. Obviously, someone in Chicago can't plan something in another city with no help. So if no one in those cities is going to actively help then Chicago it is. Anyone want to do some research in Boston or NY now?

Next order of business, answer these questions:

1. Convention style or regular meet up/fun stuff?
2. Weekend or during the week?
3. What do you want out of this besides meeting each other? Touristy stuff? Shopping? Partying? Whatever it is you want, comment with it.

Don't just leave a comment in here and say you think this is an awesome idea and it should happen. You input and thoughts are needed if you want this to happen so please answer these questions. All of them.

Thanks.

ETA: I'm not trying to be a mega bitch but Jenn was trying to do this and came to me when no one got back to her. If this is really going to happen then we obviously need some help. I love you all so don't hate me <3

1. I definitely say fun stuff. I'd rather it be casual and low-key than something formal.
2. Weekend, preferably.
3. All the above! Mostly meeting each other, but maybe have some planned side excursions. For example, if this would happen on a weekend, on Saturday maybe we could plan on brunch in the morning, with an afternoon to do what we want (but with some planned options, like shopping, touring the city, rock climbing, etc), and then going out at night. I'd like it so that it's kind of open to do what we want, but still a little planned.
1. fun stuff
2. weekend
3. drinking, eating, (touristy would depend on location)
1) Once we get a city, it might be nice to see if we can convince some college professor to give a talk for like, an hour, about social media and blahblahblah. Otherwise, it is tremendously fun to sit around and drink drink drink and make memories and shit.

2) WEEKEND. Weekend. Weekend. Cannot say weekend enough.

3) Organized sporting event? Shopping? Alcoholism? Some touristy shit because so many people will be totally new to where-ever we decide.
And really, now that I think about it, screw the conventiony thing. Let's get wasted somewhere instead.
Giant blogger BBQ? Rent out some kind of park district facility and raise hell?
Chicago! I've never been and the last one looked like a lot of fun. Boston is a roadtrip away so that would be cool too.

1. Convention style or regular meet up/fun stuff? Meet up/Fun Stuff !!
2. Weekend or during the week? I like what Ben said....Friday, Saturday, Sunday type of thing
3. What do you want out of this besides meeting each other? Touristy stuff? Shopping? Partying? Whatever it is you want, comment with it. Partying, Shopping, Partying, Touristy stuff, Partying?
i don't have much to add b/c i agree with what everyone else has said :) ...

1. fun stuff
2. weekend
3. touristy stuff & lots-o-partying
1. regular meet up/fun stuff
2. Weekend!
3. All of it?!
someone wrote partying and i thought they said praying. i was confused.

maybe it's the wine i've been drinking.
eff partying, I'm totally praying all weekend!

i'm totally going to hell for saying eff and praying the same sentence.
Praise the Lord! Blogger meet up!
First off, I'm going to have to make a major plea for Boston. It's awesome, it's easier for us Canucks to access annnnnd the guys there tend to be extremely good-looking. Oh, and they have awesome accents. (Granted, my dad grew up in South Boston and I still have a lot of family there, so I'm biased.)

1. Meet-up/fun stuff (those who are there to plan, plot and network will be able to do so more easily under the influence, I'd wager.)
2. Weekend.
3. You mean touristy stuff can't be fun? I say we take the hookers and blow on the bus tour!!!
hi friends:

1) fun stuff. duh.
2) weeekend. duh. love the thursday night to sunday day idea...
3) BBQ? renting the back room of a bar? softball game? party on my porch? fun city tours? booze cruise? oh i could go on and on about weekend entertainment...

clearly, i would love for this little gathering to be in sweet home, chicago. there's lots of us here and i know i could plan a damn good time for all y'all. pinky swear.

butttt here's a ringer...
i don't really think june is the best time for this. summer is SO busy and i'm sure a ton of us have weddings already filling up our calendars, being 20somethings and all. i really think fall (like sept or oct) would be better. granted, if it was planned far enough in advance we could make sure enough people can make it (again, duh) - and maybe this is just my opinion but i think people have more free time post summer.

thoughts?

ps - im excited :)
