Jenn and Jamie have been wonderful about planning this meet-up for us, but there are still unanswered questions. Based on the other thread it seems that several bloggers are interested in doing touristy stuff while we are in Boston. A group of us are in charge of planning this part of the meet-up and we want to know what YOU want to do.
So, what do you want to do (that is specifically tourist related) in Boston?
Any suggestions or input will be helpful. Thanks so much!
There is SO much fun stuff to do in Boston. Here are a few things my friends and I plan to enjoy on our upcoming Boston tourists day:
1) Duck tour! It's cheesy, but definitely a good time.
2) Sam Adams Brewery Tour: Free and free beer!
3) Walking the Freedom Trail slash Freedom Trail Pub Crawl: Educational AND fun.
4) Dinner and/or pastries in the North End (aka Little Italy): if we could pull together and somehow get an entire restaurant (depending on how many people: most restaurants up there are pretty small), it could be an awesome Italian adventure.
5) Again, if we wanted to put out some money, getting group tickets to a Red Sox game could be intense.
6) Biking Tour: they have these awesome photo tours, for people intersted in photography, this could be an awesome time
7) Aquarium
Again, these are just some rough ideas that my friends and I have talked about doing. If you guys need any help, feel free to email me :)
My friend The Missus (from On Common Ground) lives in Boston's South End. She's putting together a whole bunch of recommendations for us. I should have it by early next week.
Don't know if this qualifies, BUT, is there some sort of beverage and music establishment that would be able to accommodate a lot of us? Here, we're all about the pub crawls, so we could pick one or numerous places to go and then roll out with a theme for the whole event.
Oh yes - I'll back anything involving costumes.
Here are some suggestions.
80's
Europop
White trash
Gym bunnies
Infomercials
Me thinks 80s would be particularly fitting for the 20SB crowd. Plus, it would balance out the dressy uppy night nicely.
