I was just thinking about all the different types of blogs there are, even just in OUR community. Personal, humorous, celebrity-driven, photos, sports, niche markets . . . what kind are you drawn towards reading most regularly? I generally tend to go for personal or humour blogs and don't really tend to visit the other types on a regular basis. Is there a certain reason why you prefer certain categories of blog?
I like blogs like mine, really. Personal blogs that talk about a wide range of subjects, and how they affect the life of the blogger. I like personal bloggers who sometimes talk about politics or school life or thoughts on the future, and that kinda thing.
I'm also on and off into social media, so I like reading those kinds of blogs as well, but it takes a little bit more to catch my interest in the long term. I kinda float in and out of those blogs.

Blogs which give off a certain spark, that have passion. They have to beinteresting, either in a personal sense, or ones that cover topics I'm interested in, such as fashion, PR and literature.
Most importantly, I prefer blogs where the blogger has a grasp of the English language, and are engaging writers because of this. Colloquialism is perfectly acceptable, but if I stumble across a blog peppered with "text speak" - I will run for the hills!

Pretty much anything that isn't "so I ate my sandwich, and then I went for a walk, and then I watched some TV." I don't need a daily recount of anyone's life other than my own. But I love blogs filled with humor and commentary. I love seeing how someone else thinks about certain topics.
