Sounds like a plan, if you give me your name and number I would be happy to call you and discuss my ideas.
:) haaaa
Just be active.

Form a new Twitter Account. Link your blog posts...

Form a new Facebook Account. Join something like Networked Blogs and be active.

THat's about all I do.
Comment. I feel that's the best way to get noticed. People will see your name on other blogs and the blog owner of where you comment will probably check in with you.
I think you could do all the stuff that non-anonymous bloggers do, leave comments on other blogs, create facebook/twitter account, etc and just do it under an alias.
Agree on this one! Basically all you have to do is do exactly the same stuff everybody else does; be active in communities, comment, comment, comment, facebook, twitter, stumble, digg.... It's all about getting you name/face out there. And just because you're anonymous, doesn't mean you're actually anonymous. I mean, t'internets might not know your irl identity but you still have an identity as a blogger. So promote that identity via social media.

xx
Yea, just get a nom de plume. Before I started using my name back when I posted at blogpsot I was "Alice" from wonderland or not. a couple years after starting to use my real name some people still call me Alice. A real name is necessary though because a personality an be attached to it .
not that its any of my business, but is there any particular reason youve decided to go anonymous? just wondering if you had a bad experience or something that the rest of us could learn from. or are you like the waiter from waiterrant, who had to remain anonymous because his material was sensitive? im very paranoid about using my name too and it was a big decision for me to do so on here.
yea - i've had a few bad instances using my real name. first - my domain was hacked by a porn site and i wasn't able to figure out a way to get it reversed.. (not good when its your moms home page)
second - i never used my last name but it started returning my full name in google because i had linked to it so often from my personal Facebook...

don't like to deter anyone from using their name, i was just uncomfortable with it so i've gone anon.!

thanks everyone for the advice. i think starting a Twitter and maybe a Facebook page are good ideas (maybe that won't be linked to my name? thoughts?)...
thx for everyones advice! i've begun hitting up some people who used to read my old blog (so don't be scurred if i message those of you on here) - and i'm thinking of setting up a Facebook fan page / twitter account
These are really good suggestions, even for a non anonymous blogger.

Good luck on getting more exposure :)
Come up with a pseudonym, get gmail, twitter etc. account with said pseudonym and you have a safe alter ego from which to write and promote with.
