To pick one is just impossible but it stands between
- "heartbeat" by annie,
- "Philadelphia" by bruce sprinsteen,
- "pocket full of sunshine" by Natasha beddinhfield,
- "this years love" by david grey,
- "mad world" by gary jules
-"the blower's daughter" by Damien rice.
I love them these songs, and listen to them all them time.
Let me tell you, Victoria, this is impossible! I have been writing my reply in this box for like the past 15 minutes and I written and erased like 70 songs. Can't make up my mind! But I did narrow it down to one song for right now, but it is not my all time fave song (because there are too many of them) - just a song I do love:
"Moon River" - sung by Louis Armstrong
I might sound like someone's grandmother with my choice (lol) but I love 30s/40s jazz and Louis is timeless. And even though this isn't one of his originals, he sings it best.
So that's my choice for today. If I had to choose a 2010 song - it might be a tie b/w Corinne Bailey Rae's "Little Wing" and The Rescues "Follow Me Back Into the Sun."
And I have no clue why all my song choices are so sappy! Haha! Must be the mood I'm in right now or something. LOL.
