Another One Bites the Dust
Anyone else have any bad breakup stories that will make me feel better about being a failure at relationships?

My ex fiance-We were together 3 years. Towards the end I tried everything. We went to couples therapy, we were trying new ways to communicate, we were trying to "date" again, etc.
September 2009-He dropped me off at work and kissed me goodbye. He told me that he loved me and he would see me later for dinner. I kissed my daughter and told her to have a good day at daycare. She was about to turn 3. We texted all day and he even called me on my lunch break to confirm dinner plans. Little did I know what he was really up to.
Later that night, I get a call from my mother. (at the same time she was calling, he was calling to so he got my voicemail) she told me that he had just shown up with my daughter and told her that he was leaving and that she needed to come pick me up from work. He left me a VOICE MESSAGE that he was done and he couldn't do this anymore. That was it. I called and called, but he had shut his phone off. Something told me to check our bank account. He had cleaned out our savings. He took $4k from the bank.
When I got home, he had trashed our house getting everything of his he could. He also left me a handwritten letter on our dining room table that he had been writing for weeks! (He had scratched out parts and added things like "things seem to be getting better now with therapy....")
Thank goodness my father always taught me to have my own savings account that no one knew about. The next day I was able to buy a car to get me back and forth to work and to hold me over until I filed charges for him taking all of that money out the account. He wasn't working and all the deposits came from my job.
His parents ended up writing me a check for $5k and a month later he came up to my job to apologize for the way he handled things and he wanted another chance. I told him to eff off. He didn't like that and had my electricity shut off since it was still in his name. It had slipped my mind.
I went over to his parents house where we ended up fighting in the yard. He hit me and I tazed him with my taser. lol
I ran into him in public recently and all he could do was stare at my engagement ring from the real man I am with now. So...I hope your breakup wasn't as bad.

I got broken up with over Facebook chat once. I asked him to call me and say it to me (long distance relationship) and he refused. How pathetic!

I had a guy e-mail me to say he was getting married. I'd last been with him 3 days before. Keepin' it classy.

ugh men suck! My ex who I was with for several years ignored me for a few weeks, which of course worried me to no end and I knew it was coming (which was his intention of course-soften the blow as they'd say -_-) and then broke up with me on MSN.. classy indeed. He eventually rang me when I told him I couldn't talk to him on MSN about something so painful and that he owed it to me. Really, is it that much to ask to man up and do it in person. After several years, you'd think he'd give you that much respect.

I won't be able to beat Miss Tattoo, but maybe it'll cheer you up to know my college bf decided he wanted to be single the very first night of Spring Break in Florida. How did I know? He changed his relationship status on Facebook! Lovely, yes?
