Anyone else having a problem with 20sb?
Over the past few days, about 50% of the time, when I access 20sb I end up getting redirected to some other site (like a site for one of the advertisers), or my Internet window just freezes. Its only been happening with 20sb. Am I the only one? Possible user error on my part. :)

Hey Jill,
Can you tell us to which URL you are being redirected? Another person has also reported this problem, and we're trying to figure it out.
(also, which browser do you use?)

It's happened to me too, and I'm using Firefox. I'm not sure of the url I'm being directed to, because Firefox asks me before it redirects and I tell it not to (then it freezes). Another site I visit had this problem for a while and it was the ads (they had the same talking ads that 20sb has had).

The first time I think it was entrepreneur.com, I can't remember any of the others since I would just ex out of the window as soon as I was redirected.
I'm using Firefox.

Whoa, so it just happened again when I went to accept a friend request. This was the url:
http://www.asklots.com/jump2/?affiliate=mu1&subid=93892&ter...
It seemed to be for something called Ego TV.

Well.. to add to it. I've just been pulled from the site about three times in a row while I was trying to read a discussion. I grabbed the URLs, don't know if it means anything... but here they are.

Well I had this to happen to be a few times, but I just kept going on with what I usually did, but next time it happens I will post it. But one thing I have noticed is the ads popping up a few times of all types if I am not mistaken and I thought I blocked ads on Firefox, maybe it only does the block-pops for certain things. Along the similar lines, I have not gotten the message to leave off the page or to close the tab when I have not even tried to close anything while on this site. So yeah... and below is one of the sites I get redirected, too. I don't know if my system has a virus or not because I just did a scan last night and sworn I cleared everything and I get paranoid when it does bring a website or two up and everything starts popping up driving me crazy. I keep running the scan!

Strangely enough I have not had this happen at all. I am using the latest version of firefox. I rarely look anywhere but the forums though so that might be why i don't get them.

I’ve been having problems with the site as well. It seems to have started after a new ad was placed on the sidebar here – I noticed it stuck out (wasn’t aligned) and often would start automatically playing some type of video/audio ad.
Sometimes the site would just completely crash on me, or my browser was automatically closed, or forwarded to some spammy site – like the fake "your computer has a virus and do you want to download our security software to clean this?"

I have the same problem. I'm thinking my computer actually has a virus so I keep scanning LOL. But I also noticed the ad that stuck out, too David. Similar situations, eh.

Well it hasn't happened to me yet. But I'll put in my two cents from what I know. One of the sites I use to go, watch the simpsons...you can guess what it's about...they had a problem before because of one of their advertisers had secretly snuck in some code that when pages loaded up they would automatically direct people to a new page. That particular case did not involve people having a virus. So you might want to check what the advertisers are doing. I hope that helps.
