The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I'd been blogging for awhile before I started checking out the stats on individual posts, and I added the "Popular Posts" Blogspot gadget. I'm actually really surprised by what some of my most popular posts are. My most popular post is one I did in November 2008 about Mad Men, and although no one has commented on it at all, it has way more hits than any of my other posts. No idea why- I mean, there are plenty of Mad Men fans out there, but I'm hardly the only person writing about it.

I actually just added a "So You're New Here?" page with links to the posts I think will help people get to know me better or are the most indicative of my blog's content, since I don't think "Popular Posts" does that very well. What about you guys? Are you surprised by what people are reading the most on your blog?

I once wrote a story post and titled it "When Skater Boys Strip." Most regular hits to this day. I'm sure people are disappointed when they find a cute story about twelve year olds running around in their boxers... And not even a picture of a prepubescent kid with his shirt off.

i had a really weird post about how some dude on youtube said i looked like noel fielding from the mighty boosh... i got SO MANY hits from people googling "girls who look like noel fielding". noooo joke.

Your most popular posts are generally the ones that have an image that people google search. Mine is my Tattoo post!

I have two posts that bring me upwards of 100 hits a day just between the two of them.  I really have no idea why and I wish I could gauge if the readers it brings me ever stick around.

One is a chart of major world religions and the other is a post about racist undertones in a doctored Dora the Explorer pic. RANDOM.
