The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I'm heading to Punta Cana for a week next Friday, so I need some new reading material. (Last time I read about four books in the course of one week). Recommend some good beachy novels that I should pick up--please and thank you!

The Stephanie Plum books will have you in stitches. I love them and I actually can't breathe from laughing so hard. The first one is One for the Money by Janet Evanovitch
One for the Money was voted for this month's book club book. I'm surprised I like it as it's not usually a genre I peruse...

they're also making a movie!
The Stephanie Plum books seem to be pretty popular! I might have to check them out.
Well, I know they are old but if you haven't gotten around to them yet I would definitely go for the Bridget Jones Diary. So easy to jump in and out of, when you are on vacay and stuff is happening all the time :)
Oh, I love Bridget Jones just for the beach! I've read the books a bunch of times but they're still awesome :)
I second Pride and Prejudice and Zombies!
It seems pretty popular. Must be a good read! Thanks :)
My hubby actually has Rules of Attraction and I hadn't read it yet, so thanks for the reco. It'll save me some $$ at the bookstore!
gotta love blogging in books! thanks!
I am about to go away to Mexico too! The books I plan on bringing are a little heavier than most mentioned below but here they are:

Catch 22 - Joseph Heller (because I am reading it now and I know I won't be done before I leave)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Stieg Larsson
LOTR - Fellowship of the Ring - J. R. Tolkien
The God Delusion - Richard Dawkins
The Dark Knight Returns - Frank Miller (this one is a graphic novel)
Three Cups of Tea - Greg Mortenson (I'm reading this for book club)
Atlas Shrugged - Ayn Rand
Portrait of a Lady - Henry James

Haha I know its kinda an intense list but I find I'm best at reading the big heavy books when I am away on vacation and I don't have the option to switch to something fluffier... mostly because I didn't bring anything fluffy to read.
