Biggest pet peeve?
I am curious to see what people's biggest pet peeves are. I have a... few haha. And I am going to list some:
-Gum Smacking
-Sweaty Hands when handshaking (It happens to me when I am nervous, so I DO understand)
-People who act like they are the only person in a retail store
-People who think that I just graduated from high school when I tell them I just graduated from college. And then even more annoying, the people that argue with me about my age/education and are aghast that I am indeed a college graduate.

I can't stand it when people are late! how hard is it really to get somewhere on time? i understand when people have a legitimate excuse.. Thanks for responding!

- Loose handshakes. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean you can't use a firm grip. Man up!
- Manipulators
- Coughing or sneezing into their hands and then shaking mine or handing me something.

Slow walkers are the absolute WORSE. Don't you know there are people walking ALL around you?!

Oh I have several! I'll keep it to three though :)
1. People who are CONSISTENTLY late. Not just once or twice, that I can give some leeway on, but all the time? Drives me crazy.
2. People who snap their gum/crack their knuckles/smack their lips/chew with their mouth open. Basically those kinds of noises have a way of raising the hairs on the back of my neck if i'm in a quiet room.
3. NYC-centric one: people who lean on the subway poles when its crowded on the train. Its either get your hand crushed holding on, or risk falling into people. Neither are fun options!
I also agree with Jenn about the handshakes! That's a very important trait to have :)

People do that on the tube and crowded overground trains in London too! And I agree, it is very annoying indeed!

This is so interesting cause everyone that responded has at least one pet peeve in common with mine... ones that I didn't even list, although the list could go on and on...
Slow walkers, weak handshakes,
Jennifer- that whole sneezing thing is gross! I wish everyone had to carry purell on them just like we all have to (legally) carry some form of ID...

I agree with that! I think a pet peeve of mine has to also be dirty hands... Purell should be a must everywhere haha

People who think they're too good for the entire universe, always criticize things you say, and make you feel inadequate by their words. Such people exist. I so rather avoid them.
