I can understand why people would want and display an award from a large reputable site, but I really don't get the point of awards from random blogs.

I love blog awards, it's a great idea to get to discover other blogs too. I've found some cool blogs by the awards I've been given in the past! :)

Because blog awards are awesome! What's the difference if a large reputable site likes your blog or just a fellow blogger?
