I'd like to start a round robin in which we can critique each other's blogs (and thus receive some great advice from fellow bloggers). The way I see it going is: the next person to post has to critique my blog (constructively). The person after has to critique the previous blog, etc. You are welcome to critique additional blogs, but this way everyone gets some advice. I know it will be a little tough because we all have different styles and subject matter, but I think we can all contribute something. And... go!
Just checked out your blog :) I really like the layout, it is very simple, clean, and easy to read, and I like the pink background in the header. If I had any advice for you, I would suggest maybe creating or having someone create for you a graphical header that incorporates your title and tagline in a more artistic way, rather than the plain font.
I would also suggest posting your pictures larger - I think when they are large, they fill up the space and really pop/stand out :)
*******For whoever is next in line, my blog is http://kinseymichaels.blogspot.com (as a forewarning I am planning a complete layout makeover pretty soon, so I am most interested in getting any critique or suggestions on my content! thanks :)
So I get to do Susie Q? Now that sounds real freaky! hehehehe
Rest assured! I'm not a lesbian...not that it'd be wrong if I were.
I didn't find anything that I don't like about your blog! Except for one tiny lil thing. Your sidebar needs to be slightly increased, width-wise.
Your posts are easy to read, they are of average lengths. And interesting. I can definitely relate to your 'ordinality'! Kudos for that blog url by the way.
One small suggestion? Since you started blogging in 2009 it'd be cool if you add a Popular Posts widget on your blog.
I did put up a new layout today, a little less BOOM! But I am thinking I could still probably bring it down a bit. Haha, yes I talk a lot about the vajayjay, partially due to the fact that I am going into sex, relationship and martial counseling- you have to be open and blunt about it. Plus, I have never really read a blog where there was so much openness on those types of topics.
Will def. work on posting more and getting more length in there!
DESIGN. I like the header. The high fence in the foreground really accentuates the background, which consists of the trees and the hedges. What a lot of people probably won't notice is the way the cloudy weather brings a lot of effect to the picture...not to mention the young ladies. Your design pretty much follows the stat quo for most Blogger blogs I've stopped by.
CONTENT. In reading through your blog, it seems that most of the content revolves around the fashion industry...and to a lesser extent, the entertainment industry. I can't say that I'm a big fan of fashion blogs. I get a feeling that they just feed me information and stories that I could probably find in a fashion magazine. Your blog wasn't bad though. I found the Haiti blog very interesting and necessary. I did have some problems with the huge size of the pictures.
GRAMMAR. I'm really big on grammar and in the blogs I saw, I didn't see any major grammatical issues or concerns.
RECOMMENDATIONS. Other than possible scaling down on the size of the pictures, I don't have any other recommendations
