I was wondering how everyone has gone about figuring out the title of their blog. I need some inspiration, I want to get a custom blog design, but I need a title that I LOVE...

"My LaLa Land" just came from what my blog is all about. My blog is where I share what's going on in my world. Where I drift off into "lala land" and talk about my dreams, complaints, experiences, blah-blah-blah. I liked putting LaLa in the title, because I love to sing haha. SUPER cheesy, but I don't care. I like it.

Just take a munute and think about why you have a blog, what is your blog mainly about and then about things that you enjoy. Then put those things together into a creative title. It took me a while to figure out a name. But it just came to me one day!
how wonderful! That is a perfect idea...i need to think about what i love, why i write the blog and then let it simmer...
I agree with Amy, you have to think about it and let it simmer I suppose. I was thinking and trying to come up with a title for my new blog and decided on One Red Wall. I have one red wall in my house and I Love it. It's crazy, and most people think I'm a little nuts, but I love it. Red is my power color and it just makes me feel more passionate. More powerful, sexier, stronger, even madder when I need to be (such as when I have to stand up and say something but don't want to). So for me its about reminding myself to be more passionate about life, as well as being something that's just about me. It just came to me as the perfect thing to call my blog. I love it. Now I just have to get my blog started again. :)
"This Song Starts A Craze..." came from a lyric in the song "Okay, I Believe You But My Tommy Gun Don't" by Brand New. I love the song, and I love music, so it just seemed to fit.

Honestly, I think a name should reflect what voice you bring to your blog as well as what you love.
haha my blog name came from "heave a sigh" so i just made some changes and now the name is "heave a lie" or shorter form as my blog reads heavealie.tada!!!you have a blog name.think out of the box you will find one or a name or something that has been connected to you all your life!!
I'm kind of the opposite of some of the people here I think-- if I think too long about something I'll find reasons not to like it, so I impulsively thought up a name, made the blog, and 3 years later I still kinda like it. :)

I chose "I Heart My Shoes" as I adore shoes and at the time was working at a shoe store. Now it's just my happy place. haha

But I know choosing a name sucks... especially when you don't have a clear direction. Why not come up with a couple ideas then poll your readers?
My blog name came from a note written on top of an essay from a college professor that went something like: "Your handwriting is very stylish, but hard to read. Please consider printing for exams."

That was more than a year before I started my blog. When I was trying to come up with a name for my blog, I randomly stumbled upon that essay and was struck with the name my blog still carries. Stylish Handwriting. ... It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with what I do or who I am, but I always laugh when I think about it.
You'll NEVER guess where my blog name came from.
Mine's just called nadinerine, which is one of my nicknames. :)
My blog is titled "The Rest Is Still Unwritten"

And no, it wasn't named after Natasha Bedingfield's song "Unwritten". That is a very common misconception. The reason I titled my blog "The Rest Is Still Unwritten" is because this is an ongoing diary/journal/notebook for me. Like my writing, I too feel like I am a constant work in progress. So just like everything I write, I never feel it's complete. So really, the rest is still unwritten.

As you see, the title is very fitting...especially since unlike a book, a blog keeps continuing on and on.
When I started my blog I was just thinking of words I liked and decided on "lovely" and I went from there. It's kind of silly but whatever.
My blog's name is "Don't Feed the Animals" and it is a vague reference to our current state of living. In his book Choke, Chuck Palahniuk explained how animals at the zoo, stripped of all need to use their basic instincts to hunt, mate and survive, resort to masturbating in their cages all day. I personally think that is an accurate reflection on how we all live. So, my blog's title is sorta sarcastic, but thoughtful at the same time.
