Every now and again I get tagged by another blogger. I don't mind it at all. I think it's definitely nice when done in moderation. But, my problem is that when ever I tag others I never get any responses.

Memes are fun, occasionally, but I'm one of those people who, if tagged, doesn't necessarily respond. It's not out of disrespect or anything; it's more often because I write whatever I like, and I like to keep my content to my own style. That said, I do occasionally do a meme, but it usually has to be something really different and a fun writing exercise.
yeah some people dont respond..i occassionaly comment in their blogs to let them know that they're tagged though..
but it doesnt stop me from tagging them again in the future, meme and award game are always fun for me to do..

Tagging is a form of blogging interaction that works similarly to old email forwards. There's some form of meme, such as a series of questions, that you would write about, and then you would link to other bloggers to do the same thing on their blogs. On the one hand, it's an interesting way to get to know your fellow bloggers, but on the other hand, when done in excess, it can get old and often is just filler rather than solid new content.

Me, too. I don't like them. Usually if someone "tags" me, I try to reply to their blog in comment and do it, but I don't even always do that. It's just not my thing and I hope people realize that. :)
it depends on the meme. somethings are really fun or creative, so i do hope to get tagged. most are just "eh". however, i will cave under peer pressure if the meme is huge and i'm like the last person to do it
