Do you have children reading your blog or adults? I knew how to get on the computer, the internet and subsequently your website. I have the capacity to make my way around your page no matter how poorly designed it is.

I'm not a fan of when someone has 100 posts per page. Keep it short. Things download faster with less posts per page.

I agree! But the complete opposite sucks as well; I just don't have the patience to keep on clicking 'next' after reading just one post... :P

Layout is not so much of a problem until i stumbled upon this blog with black background and dark grey texts. What's that?

-deep thoughts
-replying hosts

OFF
-mile long writing
-large pictures that take forever to load
-autoplay
-poems

I'm turned off when I'm three or four posts in and I still can't figure out what the blog is about! Also when it's too text-heavy, with no break for an image of some sort.

i don't really care if a person's blog has purple dinosaurs and yellow text on a neon green background. that would actually attract me to it, even though it may be hard to read and would give me a migraine.

lame blog content:
-constantly bragging about your children- i'm not a mom so i may got "get it."
-constantly complaining about a significant other because he or she works all the time and blahdy blah- if they're tired of your nagging, so am i.
-"i don't know how i'm going to pay my bills but i know the Lord is moving and his will be done...but i sure need some money. praise the lord!" just come out and ask for a handout.
-more ads then blog posts- at least use a scroll box or marquee.
-TRYING to be funny or prove how intelligent or self-righteous you are with your big wordy words and...lameness.
-bloggers who care more about having lots of followers- not every one of those 5000 followers are reading your blog, mkay.

I get turned off of a blog when I can barely read the content because the whole page is so messy and cluttered. I like simple layouts that make it easy to read. Definitely no background music either.
