Permalink Reply by Jennifer on May 9, 2013 at 9:36am I feel you. After a day of work and school, my writing mojo is practically gone. I too need to be better at writing, whether creatively or journaling. Good luck!
Permalink Reply by Jessica on May 9, 2013 at 1:58am My readership has kind of plateaued, and I'd like to start drawing in new people and getting more comments -- I finally get comments on just about every post, but I'd love for commenters to start talking with each other more rather than just to me.
I have a few ideas for making this happen:
-Pitch more guest posts to bloggers with bigger audiences than mine. I did a bunch of guest posts about two years ago, but they were on relatively small blogs and didn't bring me much traffic.
-Engage with the 20SB community again. Hello! I have been terrible about being involved here lately, but I know from my readership survey that my most engaged readers originally found me through 20SB.
-Create another guest post series and do way more upfront planning and strategizing this time. Last time I had some great posts in my "What Marriage Means to Me" series, but I basically just put it up and then hoped people would volunteer to guest post, and it was slow and painful.
If anyone else has suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

I love guest posts. I think they're a great way to introduce yourself to new audiences. We've seen a lot of great series as well. Let us know if you do another one!

Permalink Reply by Kaeley Mull on May 10, 2013 at 2:38pm I would really like to grow the number of people who consistently follow my blog. I love sharing my photography with others and like to see other people appreciating my work. My goal, currently, is to get to 200 followers. Right now I am at 61 - so I have a lot of work to do!
