Permalink Reply by Andrea Regueira on September 17, 2011 at 10:26pm I recently moved from blogger to a self-hosted blog. There are tons of tutorials out there that explain how to do this without losing your followers, and following them step-by-step I have managed to do it successfully. My comments are screwed up, but I believe that is down to Disqus, not the move itself.
I would definitely recommend it, it feels more professional, it's easier to remember, it looks better...
Permalink Reply by Bri Poster on December 1, 2011 at 10:02am I bought mine through Google (since I have a blogger account) and it kept everything for me. Comments, blog posts, etc. I've considered switching away from Blogger, but haven't because I don't want to lose what I've started.
Permalink Reply by Kimba McG on December 2, 2011 at 2:53am If you switch to self hosted wordpress you can export your entire blog from blogger and transfer everything to your WP blog. Traffic and subscribers? I'm pretty sure you can change your URL in GFC, and it's pretty easy to put a 'moved' post as a placeholder on your old blogger blog :)
