The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Next month in early October I will be traveling across the country all the way from Erie, PA to visit Portland and Seattle. I'm seriously thinking about moving west and coming to check out these cities. I'm thinking Seattle would be better in terms of jobs (I'm a graphic designer), but hear so many great things about Portland as well. I was thinking about moving to Dallas, but everyone keeps saying I'd love Seattle and Portland. Hmmm.....

So this question is to all you Portland and Seattle people. What do you love about your city? Should I move there and while visiting what should I see and do? Please help!

Hey!! That's not all West Coasters!! I'm from Cali...
HAHA I was thinking the same thing. =/
Sorry guys :/
I live in Portland! It is amazing. It and Seattle have a lot of the same vibes. Here we have amazing coffee and there is ALWAYS something going on. The art scene is unreal. The night life is great. And the people are very friendly. I absolutely adore this city.
Just looked at your blog too. You are a graphic designer. That is great for Portland. My roommate does that too! and I am a photographer. Again its a great place for artists!
I'm visiting there in two weeks! Can't wait! I hear they're both AMAZING!
I've visited Portland and Seattle---and Portland was my fave. The people are friendly, the weather is sunnier, and it's basically amazing. I love it there.

Cali isn't bad, either... :)
I lived in Seattle for a year, but now I am back in San Antonio.

I'm miserable here, we are doing everything we can to relocate back up there.

It's a beautiful city, people there are so eco-friendly and just have a groovy vibe.

I love Texas, it's home - but it's never been as cool and cutting edge as up there. Even Dallas doesn't compare.

The scenery is to die for, and if you don't mind the cloudy skies, then it's perfect.

Check out downtown when you go, grab a bite at Dicks Hamburgers and just walk around the city, the culture there is amazing.

The only drawback is the cost of living - but I figure Portland is just as expensive.
