The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I just switched from http://shinxyblog.blogspot.com to http://shinxyblog.wordpress.com and I have to say, I liked Blogger a lot better. So far the only advantage of Wordpress that I can see is being able to password posts (which is crucial for me now).

So, Wordpress bloggers, why is Wordpress good? I need reasons to like it, help me out here lol

I did that! It's awesome! Everything starts off so white, and large'ish. What totally eerked me the first time is that I spent so much time figuring how to change the font, but you can't change it. You'll have to live with that until you start hosting. But by far Wordpress is the more dominating site. It's clearer, the templates are cheerier, everything's more modern
I did the same thing, moved from Blogger to Wordpress.com and eventually to Wordpress.org. Blogger is a great place to start out your blog - get in the habit of writing, editing, create an audience, and develop an overall theme to your blog. Moving to Wordpress was a big step, especially to .org. There is so much more flexibility and customization and like Jonathan said in the previous post, so white and large'ish! You can take a layout that you like and change everything around, it's awesome!

Wordpress.org gives you even more flexibility, but you need to know somewhat of CSS if you want the full benefits. See, I didn't know much about CSS when I started, but .org has forced me to learn it. The online forums really do help. AND there are all these countless plugins (social media buttons, retweet button, google analytics, etc) that are a lot of fun. It also makes your blog look much more professional.

Just play with with it and you'll get the hang of it :)

I also recently made a blog site using Wordpress, but mine is on a separate hosting. It gives more customization, though I still didn't figure out all aspects of it (actually I just didn't want to spend any more time on it).

Wordpress sites look a lot "cleaner", I think. They appear more professionally made and better quality, if you may say that. More modern, as Jonathan said.
