I can see the chat, but I can't type anything in the window, and it doesn't appear to be updating itself. :(

Ok, so this is probably a dumb question but I'll ask it anyway and perhaps look like a big dummy in the process...

So anytime you sign into 20SB, you are automatically signed into the chatroom too?

And it doesn't look like it does IMs, but I suppose if you aren't actually viewing the chatroom while you are signed into 20SB, then you would have no idea if someone was trying to talk to you? They wouldn't know if you were viewing the chatroom as opposed to just surfing the forums, right?

You can 'go offline' if you don't want to appear online... for some reason.

And the chat is still broken... Looks like it has been for about 3 hours :(

everyone, we're working on a solution to the chat freezes. from what i've gotten from Ning (who built the thing) it's somewhat common, and not all the big networks are using it. we're not even close to the biggest network, but we're growing fast.

we'll put together a solution soon, but definitely shoot emails to myself or lisa or shoot me a DM on twitter.

It's nice having a chat on here. It just add more interaction and more to do while surfing the forum and else where. Chatting with fellow bloggers of the common group.

Don't forget about the chat. It can be found in the lower right hand of the web browser. Similar to Facebook if you can notice the on there, then you should notice the on here and try it out. You will be some fun and awesome people. Go on... give it a shot!
