The Bloggers With The Most To Say

So, I have a few blogs that I promote heavily through Facebook, and see a nice lift in traffic on these URL's from those links posted on Facebook...

My problem is this...I have had some very heated comment battles about some of the topics...but everyone always leaves the comments on Facebook, not the blog itself...

Any tricks you all know of for directing those interactions to the blog rather than the social media outlet where it is advertised?

Or, any suggestions on generating comments on your posts?

Take a look at the sites here...www.tampabayraysfan.com and www.thomasgemkow.com

In the coding for your comments section for every one of your posts, write:

"Dummies: spill your guts here, not on Crackbook!"
hehe. might give that some thought.

I have been using the IntenseDebate plug-in for WordPress, with hopes of them fully integrated Facebook comment links and pulling them over to the blog, but havent seen any news of that yet.
Are you sure they're reading the blog? Haha I don't want to sound rude (you always know when someone says that, they're about to say something rude)

- but - when I get those "notifications" that things are reaching carpal-tunnel-inducing proportions, and I see my high school history going back and forth with my little brother, I'm totally on it, and usually don't need to read the stimulus in order to get what's going on...

just saying?
yeah, they are actually going to it...I track that via Google Analytic and WordPress stats...and the referring URL on those days is the Facebook URL tied to the notification that the blog has been posted.

That, and I get a lot of specifics on certain things I've written, that they would not have commented on if they did not read it.
