The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Countries you have visited and what you like about it?

I have been lucky to live and work at Japan for one year and it made a huge impact in my memory. What i love the most in Japan is the nature. I've never seen a place so preserved like Japan. That's why the air is so clean. I also love their culture, nice people and of course yummy foods.

Ah, what a great topic. My favourite countries...
Mexico- I think because I've been going since I was younger. I love their food, and speaking Spanish. Discovering the village life teems with adventure.
Switzerland- Only because it is beautiful. But so is Greece, Laos, many others...
Morocco- Wildly exotic!
Albania- I didn't feel I'd experienced eastern Europe 'till I'd been here.
India- There is no where like India. The culture is vibrant.
I would love to go to Japan. And I haven't been to the Philippines yet, but I love southeast Asia.
wow! you're almost around the world! i am jealous lol.
:), I didn't want to stress my readers with an exhaustive list. But I still have much left to see!
I know its not far but I moved from England to Northern Ireland and I love the place enough to blog about it a lot. It's sometimes a love/hate relationship but its a unique part of the world, the scenery is great when its not raining and the people for the most part are very down to earth, lots of good pubs too!

I've been a fair few places on holidays, Malta, Greece, France, Spain, Turkey, Holland and the likes but apart from Greece haven't really ever been there long enough to get to know the place very well.
You've been to alot of countries too like Kris. I only saw Ireland in pictures on the web and i was enchanted, i could only visit it in my dreams.
Its not too hard to imagine - sure, if its raining outside, you're already 3/4 of the way there ;)
I've heard Malta is beautiful! My husband had gone a few times (he's in the military) and I certainly would love to go there!
It is very nice, we saw most of the island when we were there as we were staying with a friends family who lived there and they took us around the island. Valletta is a very beautiful city, walking around the place is like throwing yourself back in time.
Deutschland: My favorite country in the world. I've always wanted to retire there. The ambiance & nature was amazing. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.
Italy: Culture shock, diversed country, full of endless culture.
Ibiza (Spain): Clubbing capital of the world. Nice, but other then clubbing & amazing sunsets the island had nothing else.
Holland: Best pancakes in the world. Best dance festivals.
Nicaragua: Went when I was 18, culture shock, really limited in resources. Sorta like a 3rd world country. Small, the food was great though.

Now I need to keep on traveling. I would love to go to Greece, Switzerland, UK.
Great plan Kay! Thanks for replying!
I love what you say about Italy - it's so true! I'm currently living in Naples, Italy (southern) and seriously, everyday is like a surprise. The culture is so different here, and sometimes it is really hard for me to accept, and then other times I am so excited to be a part of it.

But really, Naples culture is hugely different from Italian culture. They even speak their own dialect of Italian! (A friend said to an Napoletan, "I don't speak Italian..." and the Napoletan said, "Neither do I.") Naples life is bustling and busy and bumper to bumper all the time - it takes some getting used to.

All in all though, even on my bad days, Italian life is going to be something I remember always. It's a true dream come true living in a country with such rich history and culture and life - it's amazing.
I've lived in a few countries and visited many others my top five include:
1. Okinawa - it's technically a part of Japan but it's so different that I think it counts as it's own country (and I'm not too fond of mainland Japan, sorry!). I love the culture here, the people, and especially the history. Okinawans have suffered so much and are still some of the nicest people! Also the fact that it's subtropical makes it great too.
2. South Korea - The food :)
3. England - Lived here the longest so it shall always have a special place in my heart
4. Sweden - the people here are so nice!
5. Belize - I love warm weather
