The Bloggers With The Most To Say

I know there are a ton of you out there working in those small ass cubicles like me (well, mine is a little spacious). But there is always a conversation going on on the other side of that cloth wall that you could have gone without hearing... a meal that someone warmed up that has the office reeking of hot spices and salty juice... too personal phone conversations, like the results of your pap smear. You catch my drift!

What are some things that people do in their cubicles that deserve a calling out?

I'm not really sure if the conversations around me are appropriate or not because nobody fucking speaks English.
That's how I feel in the nail salon. I don't care what they're saying, I always feel like it's something negative like "look how fucked her cuticles are" or "she has nail fungus, but i don't know how to fix it so i'll just polish over it"
The person across from me slams on her keyboard AND talks loud. It actually makes me dislike her as a person. I have to keep my Mp3 player on so I don't hear her.
The chick across from me has the most annoying laugh. Like, she has a permanent laugh in everything that she says. And she's always talking about counting calories and shit, but eats pizza everyday for dinner :-/
Hahaha there was a woman who used to make popcorn at 10am EVERY DAY. And my boss used to curse like a sailor...that was appropriate! Oh and I love when you hear "Yes, I'd like to make an appointment for my pap smear" on the other side of the cube...
Sounds familiar, this guy makes a bowl of oatmeal every day. As if he doesn't live 5 minutes from the office. Like really, are you a toddler? You want everyone to know that you eat breakfast? What is it? Oh, and he brews a pot of hot water in the coffee machine to make his oatmeal. Annoying!
For me it's what people DON'T do. The office I share with a bunch of instructors has one phone but no receptionist. People always let the phone ring and ring and ring; I'm usually the one who answers it. Then someone will be like, "Oh, I would've answered that." Yeah. RIGHT.
That would definitely piss me off!
Oh it's an easy one for me. TURN YOUR CELL PHONE RINGERS OFF! I know that some people in my office are older but that's no excuse for having the ringer on, all the time, with the volume turned all the way up.
This must be a rule in our office, to turn off your cell ringers. The most I hear are phones vibrating! But yea, that would piss me off! Or how about the ones with the songs??? Like the latest ass-popping, Gucci Mane song... yea, no thanks!
Hmm, we have 'pods' rather than cubicles - it's all quite open plan.

We have one coworker who disappears for ages at a time, does hardly anything and spends ages on personal (awkward family matters) calls. Ugh.
We'll soon be transitioning from cubes to pods for more collaborative work, I guess a friendly work environment initiative. I'm kinda on the fence about this. I hate not being able to see people as I work, not that I need to. But it would be nice to see a face from time-to-time without needing to actually get up and walk into their cubicle. It will also eliminate the need to speak loudly since we won't have to yell over each others walls. It's like playing guess... Guess who just asked you that question lol

I'm waiting impatiently to see how ppl are going to react to this change!
