The Bloggers With The Most To Say

So, I'm gonna say it right off the bat.  I HATE Daylight Savings.  For more reasons than one.  I wrote a post today about it in an attempt to release my (irrational?) anger and hate.

But in talking to some other people today, I noticed that the hatred was not unanimous.  I am wondering why.

So please let me know your stance, pro or con on this elimination of an hour (if you have experienced it today....or ever).  Because I would like to understand both sides in the hopes that it will quell my hour-loss rage, either in finding people that agree with me or people that give me reason to question my position.  I'm willing to be open-minded on this one!

Are you in Mensa? Seriously. Why hasn't anyone thought of this genius idea before?!?!?

A 'DLST HOLIDAY'!!!! My mind would explode with excitement. However, I don't think I would use that opportunity wisely. It would likely end with me nursing a hangover incurred while celebrating DSLT and needing to make even more of an adjustment the day after the 'holiday'.
Now that I've had a chance to calm myself a bit and get over the exhaustion week that is my eventually fall out from DLST, I am happy about the longer daylight hours and super looking forward to that magical day where I get a whole glorious hour back in my life.

I will obviously use that hour to do something really productive, like watch reruns of 'Arrested Development' or eat chocolate frosting straight out of a container while standing in front of my open fridge door.
Daylight savings was introduced to retain some light on winter mornings for farmers. It still is useful, and it's one of the reasons we have every homegrown food so readily available, so even though It takes me about a week to get used to the clocks changing, i'm all for it. You get the hour back in autumn anyway.
I like daylight savings time! You eventually make up that hour of sleep, but you gain extra sun during the evening hours. Sometimes I can be in my garden til 9:30pm with out it being dark!

The only bad part is when it first starts and your waking up in the dark :(
