Every once in a while as I read through the blogs in my feed reader, I can't help but wonder where the authors are physically located as they produce their material. Is it an apartment? an office? a coffee shop? Are they in a penthouse overlooking a city? a basement somewhere in the suburbs? a hotel room in the middle of nowhere?
To help put an answer to these questions once and for all, describe your typically blogging "headquarters".
I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that my headquarters is a couch in the basement of a single family home in one of the most boring suburbs on earth. Though my options are financially limited until I graduate and start my career.
I either blog at home, at work, or on the road for work.
At my house - my home office or my living room couch.
At work - the seclusion of my office.
On the road - depends, but it can vary from inside the walls of an abandon office cube to under a shady tree in Bryant Park.

One of two places for me.
My office at work where I can sit and ponder for hours on end.
My room at home where the whirring and humming of my various electronic devices calms me down.
I really enjoyed the structure of always blogging at my desk at home. Even now that I have a laptop, I find that I still enjoy writing at a desk more than anywhere else. I suspect it has something to do with the fact I really love my twirly chair.

I'm a fan of blogging from the couch (since I have a laptop), my dog curled up by my feet and either music or the television blaring in the background.
I usually blog from a desk in the office of my apartment. I have occasionally written posts, not published them, at a coffee shop between classes or on break from work, but only from the standpoint of writing quick unpublished stuff to be published from home at a later time.
