The Bloggers With The Most To Say

Every once in a while as I read through the blogs in my feed reader, I can't help but wonder where the authors are physically located as they produce their material. Is it an apartment? an office? a coffee shop? Are they in a penthouse overlooking a city? a basement somewhere in the suburbs? a hotel room in the middle of nowhere?

To help put an answer to these questions once and for all, describe your typically blogging "headquarters".

I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that my headquarters is a couch in the basement of a single family home in one of the most boring suburbs on earth. Though my options are financially limited until I graduate and start my career.

What about you?

My main blogging habitat is leaning against my headboard in my apartment. That or if I happen to be working, I'll be at a bench outside using the free internet.
On a military base in Maryland, in base housing, in the living room, on my couch, with my laptop, alone. Totally boring, hence the bloggage.
I wish I had a cool answer for this question like - at a trendy local coffee shop that only sells free trade coffee products. Heck, I wish I could say that I even made the effort to go to starbucks, or the library. Usually though, blogging happens on my couch in my living room (no slanket for me though). Sometimes (although I try not to), I blog from my desk at work.
What a great question! It's one of those I'm sure we all think about, but no one really ever asks!

My Blogging Headquarters: Tiny Cozy 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 dogs either laying next to me farting, or wrestling loudly in the hallway. There is no balance.
you should get a man in that bed. He can lay next to you, fart, and wrestle AND take those dogs out for a walk so you can keep right on blogging
I blog from the oh so glamorous confines of my office.

I spend most of my time going to and from there so it's just the most convenient.

Plus I would rather blog than do actual work any day.
Touche.
my HQ is generally my office, because i'm in love with my desktop double monitor setup with bad ass speakers. otherwise i'm in my apartment or the coffee shop down the street with a laptop!
I only blog at home... which means I always blog from my bed, cat in lap or general vicinity, wine optional. I created my blog when I was bored at my original 8-5 desk job and would take the time to post both at work and at home. Now I'm too busy at work to blog and I get all day to think about what I want to talk about when I get home!!
I was thinking about this myself the other day too, you beat me to it :D I am a teacher and arrive at school hours before everyone else. So every day I unlock, turn the computer on, make coffee while it's logging on (it takes 5 minutes), settle myself by the heater in my classroom, click play on my ipod and write. I helps to 'awaken' me for the day.
I live in Spain and more often than not I blog of an evening/night time so I am normally sat on my furniture on my balcony. If it is very cold I will be just inside the window on my sofa. I like to be able to see outside when I write for some reason.
I usually just plunk myself down on the couch in the living room and tap away at the keys... Sometimes though, I will just unplug the internet and take my laptop to the bedroom and write there, come back, plug in, and hit publish. I need to get a wireless!
