We recently announced a partnership with ItStartsWith.Us within which we can all do little missions together to make a real difference in the world. The missions take about 15 minutes and are sent out via email about every week; they consist of cool little things we do both online and offline to make a noticeable difference in someone’s life.
Sometimes it’s acknowledging the people who mean something to you. Sometimes it’s helping a stranger.
There's a lot of information at the post linked above, and this post on How To Change The World In 15 Minutes A Week is a good place to start if you're thinking "what are these missions going to be about?"
So did you join? If you did, let us know here so we can all connect.
I did a couple weeks ago when I saw 20sb post it on twitter.
I like that it does concentrate on little things. People are more likely to be part of it if it doesn't take a lot of their time and energy. Those little things can add up though if you think about it. So if enough people do those little things, it makes a difference.
It took little over a week for me I believe. I think that was partly due to when I signed up in the week and allowing us that first week to look things over and get familiar with it before we did anything. I could be wrong, but that was my take on it.
I joined! It's great, because they are such little things, but in order to really pull them off, you've got to be conscious about the mission the entire week, looking for the perfect moments to execute. It's a totally different mindset-- a beautiful way to think. Which moment is the next moment something I do could change the world?

I joined! I like that it's kind of free-form helping the world and is a grassroots movement. Wondering if we need a group for this as well or maybe forums are enough? I know that ItStartsWithUs would like us to join the forum on their site but sometimes I can't keep up with all the sites I'm on already so maybe a group here that ItStartsWithUs knows about too?
I haven't done the picture movement yet unless you count sending one to a cousin that you haven't seen in a few years?
