I actually don't mind going in for cleanings. I love having my teeth feel super clean.
But when it comes to the painful stuff (cavities, extractions, etc.), I'm scared out of my wits. When I went to my new dentist and they said my wisdom teeth had to come out, I cried when I got home because I hate oral surgery.

I don't know if "enjoy" is the word I'd use, but I don't fear the dentist. I moreso fear losing my teeth which makes going to the dentist a good thing, a nice preventative measure.

i hate having hands poking around in my mouth. I hate the taste of the flouride and the raw feeling i get in my mouth after a dental visit.
that being said, i also have this phobia of morning breath. i'm obsessive about brushing my teeth. it's at odds with my dental phobia.

What!?!? How, how could you enjoy someone poking around in your mouth? Its just uncomfortable. I prefer to be knocked out- even for a dental cleaning. But, unfortunately, they tell me thats "overkill." Too bad

I HATE the dentist.
I once had a root canal and they started drilling prior to my being numb and the proceeded to tell me that I "had to be numb".

oh i like the dentist. once he took out one of my wisdom teeth and i cant wait to see him again to GET RID OF THE OTHER 3 HE LEFT IN THERE.
